Nat Geo Wild Heads to Latin America & Australia

WASHINGTON, D.C.: National Geographic Channels International (NGCI) has secured carriage for Nat Geo Wild in Latin America and Australia, following recent launches in France and Germany.

Premiering in Latin America, where the channel will be available as of November 1 in both standard and high definition, will be Lion Army, Predator CSI and Dolphin Army. Other programs debuting on the channel include Monkey Thieves, Animal Rescue Squad and Living Edens. In Australia, Nat Geo Wild launches on Foxtel and Austar platforms beginning November 15. The lineup for the channel includes the six-part blue-chip series Wild Russia, Orca Killing School and Frogs: The Thin Green Line.

In addition to Nat Geo Wild and Nat Geo Wild HD, three other channels from National Geographic Channels International are available in Latin America: National Geographic Channel, National Geographic Channel HD and Nat Geo Music. In Australia, National Geographic Channel, National Geographic Channel HD and Nat Geo Adventure are available alongside Nat Geo Wild.
