mun2 Scores Comcast Slot

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, March 3:
Telemundo’s youth-focused cable network mun2 will join Comcast Cable’s digital
lineup in April, expanding its reach to a total of 24 million subscribers.

Currently, mun2 reaches 17
million subscribers, and with this deal it will add a further 7 million. As part
of the carriage agreement scored between NBC Universal and the cable giant,
Telemundo will be added to the Comcast systems in Seattle and Detroit in April.
Comcast will be able to offer programming for both mun2 and Telemundo on its
signature On Demand service. mun2 On Demand will be comprised of various
programs, including The Chicas
Project
and news specials. Telemundo On Demand will feature episodes
from a variety of the network’s current telenovelas.
