MTVNI Sells Live-Action Titles from Nickelodeon Catalogue

LONDON: MTV Networks International has secured several deals in Europe and Latin America for live-action programming from the Nickelodeon portfolio.

Mediaset’s Italia Uno went for True Jackson VP, following the success of the Nickelodeon live-action series iCarly and Drake & Josh in Italy. Through a multi-property deal with Ireland’s RTE, True Jackson VP will air for the first time in the territory, along with Unfabulous and Drake & Josh.

In Latin America, True Jackson VP was picked up by Mexico’s Televisa. iCarly went to America TV of Peru, Medcom of Panama and ATB of Bolivia. The show was also relicensed by Televisa in Mexico. New episodes of Drake & Josh and iCarly are also set for ATB for a further two years.
