MTV Networks Latin America Announces Appointments, Promotions

MIAMI, November 6: MTV Networks Latin America has made three
new appointments and two promotions as part of a continued restructuring of its
creative team for VH1 and MTV.

The announcement was made by José Tillán, who was recently
promoted to senior VP of creative, content and music at MTV/VH1 for MTV
Networks Latin America.

As senior VP of music and talent for MTV/VH1 Latin America
and MTV Tr3s in the U.S., Jesús Lara will supervise the talent and music
content for these brands in Latin America as well as for the U.S. Hispanic
market. He will also collaborate across other departments to develop new
revenue streams driven by music content as well as maximizing music content
synergies between MTV Latin America and MTV Tr3s. He will report to Tillán and Lucía
Ballas Traynor, the senior VP and general manager of MTV Tr3s.

In his new role as VP of music programming and content
services for MTV/VH1 Latin America, Julio Muñiz will serve as the liaison for
pan-regional ad sales initiatives with regards to content development, new
media and nonlinear platforms. Muñiz will also oversee the music programming
strategy for both brands pan-regionally and work closely with the local heads
of music and talent in Argentina, Brazil (VH1 only) and Mexico to ensure each country’s
needs are met. He will report to to Tillán, as well as to Lara for music
programming.

In the newly created position of VP of ad-sponsored
development and special projects for MTV/VH1 Latin America and MTV Tr3s,
Michael Dagnery’s responsibilities include developing pan-regional ad-driven
content that meets client needs and is relevant to audiences both
pan-regionally and locally. In addition, Dagnery will work with the local
content heads in Argentina, Brazil (VH1 only) and Mexico to ensure that locally
developed content fulfills the needs of clients and that it is consistent with
the pan regional needs of the brands. He will report to Muñiz for ad sales
development initiatives and to Tillán on special projects and productions. In
addition, he will report to Lily Neumeyer, VP of production and programming for
MTV Tr3s, on his production and development responsibilities for the U.S.
Hispanic market.

Sean Saylor will supervise MTV and VH1’s on-air creative
teams responsible for the design and imaging of the brands and will serve as
the liaison between programming, production and client services pan-regionally
as the VP of creative for MTV/VH1 Latin America. He will report to Tillán.

Finally, as senior director of acquisitions and programming
for MTV/VH1 Latin America, Dean Broadhurst will oversee the acquisition of
long-form content for MTV and VH1, the customization of acquired programming,
and help develop the pan-regional programming strategy for both networks with
the local heads of content. Broadhurst will contribute to MTV/VH1’s local
strategies for content and programming in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico and will
work with local programmers in developing and scheduling relevant initiatives
that meet the needs of their respective audiences. He will report to Tillán.

All of these positions are based in Miami, Florida.
