MTV Networks China to Premiere 2007 MTV Style Gala

BEIJING/HONG KONG, November 7: MTV Networks China, Shanghai
Media Group (SMG) and Chinese state broadcaster CCTV 6 have announced that they
will broadcast the 2007 MTV Style Gala, featuring Paris Hilton, to more than 1
billion people throughout the region next month.

The 2007 MTV Style Gala will be held on November 23 at the
Shanghai Grand Stage. Hosted by MTV VJs and presenters from SMG and CCTV 6, the
show will be taped before a live audience of more than 10,000 fans. It will air
on MTV China, SMG’s OTV and CCTV 6 in December. The event brings together
celebrities from film, music, television and the fashion world for one night,
paying homage to style and fashion trendsetters from China, Taiwan and Hong
Kong.

Hilton will be making her first visit to China as a special
guest of MTV China. She joins a lineup of celebrities from Greater China that
include Liu Ye, Shin, S.H.E., Anthony Wong, Sammi Cheng and Vicki Zhao. Awards
to be handed out include Most Stylish Singer, Most Stylish Actor/Actress, Most
Stylish Song and Most Stylish Movie, among others.

Teng Junjie, the VP of Shanghai Media Group, commented: “The
first time that we partnered with MTV Networks China to launch the MTV Style
Gala, we celebrated the success of Shanghai 2010 World Expo. Today the MTV
Style Gala has become an important event in China’s entertainment and fashion
sector; it is very popular among audiences. We are proud and glad to see this
happen.”

Li Yifei, the executive VP and managing director of MTV
Networks Greater China, added: “The MTV Style Gala is reaching its fifth
anniversary. This year, there will be great breakthroughs in both the content
and format for the 2007 MTV Style Gala. With the upcoming 2008 Beijing Olympic
Games we have put an athletic element into this year’s show.”

MTV is the only global brand with a 24-hour channel in the
Guangdong province. MTV China's 24-hour channel is available to 14 million TV
households in China. In addition to the
24-hour channel, MTV locally produces and syndicates programming in 459 cities
across the nation, reaching more than 190 million households.
