Movie-Review Program Gets New Hosts, Additional Segments

BURBANK, July 23: On the
heels of famed critics Roger Ebert and Richard Roeper exiting their roles as
reviewers for the syndicated series At The Movies, two new hosts have been named for the weekly
program: Ben Lyons and Ben Mankiewicz.

Mankiewicz and Lyons will
usher in At the Movies 23rd season, which kicks off the weekend of
September 6. For its new season, the movie-review program will feature a new
set, refreshed music and updated graphics. The show will continue its signature
“cross-talk” reviews, where the co-hosts debate their thoughts on the latest
motion-picture and DVD releases, adding a “Critics Round-Up” segment, which
features discussions with additional critics via satellite from cities across
the U.S. Another new segment, “3 to See,” will have the co-hosts recommend
their top three must-see films that are in theaters.

The show’s companion
website will offer full-length reviews for all the movies and DVDs that
Mankiewicz and Lyons cover. The new “Critics Round-Up” segment will also be
incorporated into the site, along with a number of new online-exclusive
features to come.

Lyons has served as a film
correspondent for E! Entertainment, and has been featured on Good Morning
America
, MTV's Your Movie Show, MSNBC at the Movies and Access Hollywood. Mankiewicz has been a host for Turner Classic
Movies for five years, and was previously a reporter and anchor for WCSC-TV in
Charleston, North Carolina, and the anchor of The Times, a daily news magazine, at WAMI-TV Miami.

Buena Vista Productions
oversees production of the series, which is distributed by Disney-ABC Domestic
Television.

Brian Frons, the president
of daytime for Disney-ABC Television Group, who oversees Buena Vista
Productions, commented, "Over the years, At the Movies has become synonymous with fun, compelling movie
reviews. With the addition of Ben Lyons and Ben Mankiewicz as our talented,
charismatic new co-hosts, and exciting new segments planned, we're confident
that audiences will be enjoying At the Movies for many years to come."

Additionally, Buena Vista
Productions has upped David Plummer, currently the show’s supervising producer,
as the new executive producer of At the Movies.
