More Good Luck Charlie for Disney Channel

BURBANK: Disney Channel has ordered a second season of Good Luck Charlie, and a holiday-themed movie based on the series is also in the works.

The second-season pickup comes just three months after the show’s premiere. Good Luck Charlie ranked in the second quarter of this year as the number one series on television among kids 6 to 11 and tweens 9 to 14. The show airs Sundays at 8:30 p.m.

The holiday-themed Good Luck Charlie original movie is being written by Geoff Rodkey (R.V., Daddy Day Care) and will star cast members Bridgit Mendler, Jason Dolley, Bradley Steven Perry, Mia Talerico, Leigh-Allyn Baker and Eric Allan Kramer.
