More BrainSurge for Nickelodeon

HOLLYWOOD: Nickelodeon has given the greenlight for a second season of the hit game show BrainSurge, with 40 new episodes on order.

Host Jeff Sutphen returns to lead contestants through a range of mind-bending challenges that test their visual, memory and analytical skills. Produced by 310 Entertainment and Stone & Company, BrainSurge currently airs Monday through Friday at 4:30 p.m.

"Kids and families love the interactive experience of the show that cuts across all ages and requires no special knowledge thus leveling the playing field," said Marjorie Cohn, Nick’s executive VP of development and original programming. "With the new season, we are excited to amp up the game play and continue to build on Nickelodeon’s legacy of successful family game shows."
