Moonscoop to Co-Produce Live-Action Show for CiTV, ZDF

CANNES: My Phone Genie is a new series co-produced by Moonscoop with its sister company Lux Animation, Talent Television and Telegael that has been commissioned by CiTV in association with ZDF/ZDF Enterprises. 

The 26×30-minute series mixes live action with special effects. The show is aimed at the 12-plus audience, with multiplatform offerings as well. Worldwide distribution and licensing and merchandising will be handled by Moonscoop and ZDF Enterprises, excluding Japan, which will be managed by Talent Television.

The humour hits audiences at their own level using the modern and international language of digital technology as its access point. The audience will want to tune in each week to see the latest mayhem Gene has caused. We are delighted by the confidence shown in this series by the size of commission.”
