MoMedia Brings 3DD Music Content to Slovenian IPTV Service

LONDON, January 29: On
behalf of British distributor 3DD, MoMedia International has licensed 200 hours
of 3DD’s music programming to Telekom Slovenije’s IPTV service in Slovenia.

The agreement covers music
content like A Little Later… With Jools Holland, London Live and artists Moby, Massive Attack, Beck, Paul Weller, Robbie Williams,
Radiohead and Gorillaz, among
others.

Telekom Slovenije launched
its IPTV platform in 2003 and is one of the first in the region to offer
advanced video services, with plans to introduce personal video recording
(PVR), video on demand (VOD) and electronic program guides (EPGs).

Mark Benmore, the COO of
MoMedia International, said: “We are thrilled to be able to announce a deal
with Telekom Slovenije. The company is investing heavily in broadband services
in Slovenia and well-produced high quality music programming will help attract
the much sought after younger viewer.”

manager/new media for 3DD Digital, noted: “MoMedia are an expert partner in
this field and have helped us to further develop our content deals in the
new-media space. The deal with Telekom Slovenije showcases our music
programming to a previously untapped audience and further extends our reach.”

Telekom Slovenije’s multimedia services and content arm, added, “We are
convinced that acquiring quality content with high entertainment and replay
value will result in loyal and happy subscribers. MoMedia was able to provide
us with a flexible deal which includes rarely seen programming with great
audience appeal.”
