MobiTV, Sprint in Mobile TV Deal

SAN FRANCISCO,
October 23: MobiTV has entered into a multi-year agreement with Sprint to
continue working together to advance and extend Sprint’s stable of mobile
television services in the U.S., including Sprint TV, Sprint TV Xtra, and
Sprint TV en Vivo.

Over the next
several months, the two companies will add several features to the Sprint TV
service, including a new interface that is easier to use for all Sprint TV
services, to be powered by MobiTV. The interface will be available for Sprint
TV, Sprint TV Xtra (formerly Sprint TV Live), Sprint TV en Vivo and Pivot.
Other new developments include a content offering that aims to be of the
highest quality and most extensive in the U.S.; significant video-quality
enhancements and more support for full-screen viewing; increased channel change
speeds, and broad compatibility and support for more devices, including PDAs,
Smartphones and PocketPCs.
