Mission Pictures Sells Slew of Content Around the Globe

LOS ANGELES: Mission Pictures International (MPI) has inked several sales deals with broadcasters in Latin America, Europe, North America, Australia and Africa.

In Latin America, MPI made a 50-title agreement, involving inspirational and family movies, with Artforce with CanzionThe company sold 10 properties to France’s M6 and 17 to Spain’s Telecinco and Comercial TV. A deal was also made with Tanweer in Greece and Xcellence in Benelux. In addition, a dozen titles were licensed to Disney Channel in Russia.

Domestically, The Mark, an action/disaster mini-series, was picked up by Univision’s UniMas, while a 28-title agreement was made with Perro Blanco Films and Tricord Media in Canada. In other regions, MPI secured deals with Jigsaw Entertainment and Koorong in Australia, Brettian in South Africa and Aberengeye in Africa.
