MIP LONDON Outlines AI Focus

MIP LONDON has outlined the details of an increased focus on AI during the second edition of the market, which will feature executives from Luma AI, Deepdub, Versos AI and more.

An in-depth presentation detailing how AI voice is being deployed at scale in live production from Deepdub. Led by Oz Krakowski, chief business development officer, the session AI Voice in Production: What Actually Works at Scale will address quality standards, workflow integration and the balance of AI and human oversight. It will take place on February 23 at 11:30 a.m. in the IET London’s Mountbatten Room.

A panel discussing new revenue streams in factual—titled AI Training Data & the New Economics of Factual TV: How to License, Structure and Produce Video to Make More Money in the AI Era—will take place right after at 12 p.m. in the Mountbatten Room. It will feature Versos AI’s Chris Keevill, CEO, and Julie Meredith, chief marketing officer; Curiosity Stream’s Ludo Dufour, VP of licensing; and Arcadia Entertainment’s John Wesley Chisholm, founder and executive producer.

A central element of the AI strand will be the Applied AI Roundtables, presented in partnership with Luma AI, on February 23 at 3:30 p.m. in The Savoy’s Lancaster Ballroom. The 100-plus curated event will bring together producers, creators, broadcasters, studios and platforms shaping the future of entertainment. It will open with a keynote from Jason Day, head of GTM EMEA at Luma AI. He will outline how AI is catalyzing a creative renaissance, fundamentally reshaping how directors and producers conceive, control and deliver stories.

Examining fields spanning creativity, monetization, discovery and applications for creative workflows, rights management and responsible deployment, each table will be led by relevant experts. Confirmed hosts include Benjamin Field, CEO and co-founder of Deep Fusion Films; Chris Keevill, CEO of Versos AI; David Richtenburg, executive VP of content abd partnerships at Troveo AI; Kunal Barai, head of global markets expansion at Vitrina in the U.S.; Liz Sloan Watts, business development and partnerships for media and entertainment at Luma AI; Mathilde Pavis, legal and policy adviser on AI and digital replicas and founder of Replique; Michael Wayne, global head of media and entertainment at RWS; Oz Krakowski, chief business development officer and co-founder of Deepdub; Simon Miller, consultant at Cineversel and Tom Paton, founder and CEO of AiMation.
