mio TV Adds New European News Channel to Offerings

SINGAPORE, October 14: The international European news
network euronews will be available in Singapore on SingTel’s mio TV from
October 15 in four different languages: English, French, German and Italian.

The multilingual channel provides international news from a
European perspective. The channel runs an updated bulletin every 30 minutes
that features in-depth coverage of the day's top news, sport, business and
European affairs, and a comprehensive weather forecast. euronews also brings a
wide range of current-affairs and lifestyle features, including cinema,
science, fashion and web-news.

euronews programming includes no comment, featuring images captured from around the world,
unedited with original sound and broadcast in between programs; le
mag, which looks at arts, fashion, design,
entertainment and lifestyle events happening around the world; and agora, showcasing head-to-head debates between two
personalities with differing opinions. Other euronews offerings are talent, showcasing ordinary people who have extraordinary
talents, and hi-tech, presenting
the latest innovations in technology.
