MEGA TV Secures National Distribution on DIRECTV

MIAMI, October 18: A year
and a half after beginning operations in Miami, Spanish Broadcasting System’s
(SBS) MEGA TV channel has now secured national distribution in the U.S. on
DIRECTV MAS.

Starting from yesterday,
DIRECTV MAS airs Mega TV's programming from 6 a.m. to 3 a.m., including Maria
Elvira Live!, the live celebrity
talk show Bayly; the
tabloid-style Paparazzi TV; the
news program Mega News, the
Brazilian series Chocolate con Pimienta, the crime investigation series Xpediente, the weekly Miami-based series El Circulo; the magazine entertainment show Lamusica.com; the comedic home redecorating-themed Handyman; and Raices & Recuerdos, exploring cultural roots. In addition, there will
be a morning offering, Radio en Television, a radio/TV simulcast featuring the SBS morning shows "live"
from New York and Los Angeles.
