McGoldrick Returns to USA Network

NEW YORK: Bill McGoldrick is returning to USA Network as senior VP of original scripted programming, after previously serving as an executive in series development.

McGoldrick will oversee all USA scripted development, reporting to Jeff Wachtel, the president of USA’s original programming and co-head of original content for Universal Cable Productions. McGoldrick originally joined USA Network in 1998 as an executive assistant, and worked on various prime-time dramas and comedies for both USA and SCI FI, including The Invisible Man, Good Vs. Evil and Monk. He moved on to Spike TV as VP of original series programming, and was later named senior VP in 2007.

Jackie de Crinis, who plans to relocate to Hawaii from Los Angeles, will continue to oversee the management of original series and pilot production as senior program executive, also reporting to Wachtel.

"Bill is a great friend and a phenomenal creative executive," commented Wachtel. "Bringing him back home to USA is something we’ve been trying to do ever since he left. It’s a move that we feel will make one of the best network development teams in the business even better."

He added, "We’re also thrilled that Jackie will be able to combine a lifestyle change with continued great work for the network."
