MarVista Picks Up Three New Movies

LOS ANGELES, March 19:
MarVista Entertainment has acquired the international distribution rights to
three new movies, and will debut them at MIPTV.

Among the three titles the
company has taken on is The Trouble with Dee Dee, starring The Parent Trap’s Lisa Ann Walter and That ’70s Show’s Kurtwood Smith. The comedy features an eccentric
socialite with a knack for pulling off wild adventures—until she finds
herself disowned by her millionaire father and abandoned by her teenage son.
The film is produced by Cinemetro Films in association with Purple Rose Films.

MarVista has also acquired
Fast Girl, about a young female
racecar driver set to prove herself in a male-dominated sport; and Crystal
River, in which a married woman
discovers grace in darkness as she seeks the company of another man whilst
grieving for the children she cannot have.
