LOS ANGELES: MarVista Entertainment has acquired the international distribution rights for the feature documentary Fan-Demanium, featuring ten soccer fans from ten different countries, and will launch the show in Cannes next week.

Fan-Demanium features soccer fans from Italy, France, Germany, England, Brazil, Argentina, Australia, Japan, the U.S. and Angola. The doc looks at how fans experience the sport, along with offering a review of the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany with excerpts from significant moments from the event.

Fan-Demaniam is a unique odyssey that combines the excitement of this sporting event with real-life human drama and offers audiences an up close and personal view into the lives of those who so passionately follow the World Cup,” commented Fernando Szew, the CEO of MarVista. “Given the combination of the elements involved in this documentary, we believe the documentary will appeal to a broad demographic that understands or is intrigued by this event that enthralls most of us for one month every four years.”
