MarVista Lands European, Asian Agreements

LOS ANGELES, October 9: A host of international broadcasters
have picked up titles from MarVista Entertainment in the run-up to MIPCOM.

In Central and Eastern Europe, MarVista licensed a six-movie
package to Poland’s Telewizja Polska. Titles include Hidden Camera, which stars Dean Cain as a reporter who launches an
international investigation into the mysterious death of his brother; NYC
Tornado Terror, an action-disaster movie; Deadly
Pledge, starring Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester; and Behind the Wall, about a young woman who returns to the place where
her mother was murdered. Romania’s Kanal D took on the prime-time series Beyond
the Break, a MarVista co-production with
MTV Networks’ The N and Brookwell McNamara.

HBO Asia also picked up Behind the Wall and Hidden Camera, while South Korea’s Orion Cinema Network took on Absolute
Zero, NYC Tornado Terror and Hidden Camera to air on Catch ON and OCN cable networks.
