the interaction between the music, the movement and the people involved. It
will feature never-before-seen footage from the period, while looking at the
influence of Civil Rights-inspired music around the world. The film includes

historians and others involved in the movement.

TV One will premiere the
documentary during Black History Month on February 15 at 8 p.m., and Time Life
will subsequently release the film on DVD. MarVista Entertainment is producing
the project in association with Brainstorm Media and will distribute the film
