MarVista Holiday Movies Land in the U.S. & U.K.

LOS ANGELES: A number of holiday films from the MarVista Entertainment catalogue are slated to make their telecast premieres on ION and UPTV in the U.S. and NBC Universal in the U.K.

ION in the U.S. has lined up the television debut of How Sarah Got Her Wings, starring Kathleen Rose Perkins (Gone Girl), Derek Theler (Baby Daddy) and Lindsey Gort (The Carrie Diaries); and Merry Kissmas, led by Karissa Staples (Necessary Roughness) and Brant Daugherty (The Starving Games). UPTV has slated the U.S. TV premiere of Angels in the Snow, with Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Kristy Swanson and Heartland's Chris Potter; A Dogwalker's Christmas Tale, starring Lexi Giovagnoli (All She Wishes), Dina Meyer (Miss Match) and Patrick Muldoon (Days of Our Lives); and Rodeo & Juliet, featuring Krista Allen (Significant Mother).

The Spirit of Hollygrove, with Jen Lilley (Days of Our Lives) and Thomas Beaudoin (Paper Dreams), will have its TV debut in the U.S. later this year on a to-be-announced network.

Meanwhile, NBC Universal UK snapped up Angels in the Snow, A Dogwalker's Christmas Tale, Rodeo & Juliet, The Spirit of Hollygrove, How Sarah Got Her Wings and Merry Kissmas. The first four titles will be presented by MarVista at MIPCOM.
