MarVista Begins Principal Photography on New Feature Film

LOS ANGELES,
February 22: MarVista Entertainment has begun principal photography in Oahu, Hawaii, on
the feature film Special Delivery, starring Lisa
Edelstein from FOX’s House and
Brenda Song from Disney’s The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

In Special Delivery, Edelstein portrays Maxine Carter, a bonded courier
working in the Pacific Rim. On her latest assignment, instead of transporting
evidence or life-saving organs, she must accompany a spoiled teen socialite
named Alice, played by Song, from her father in China to her mother in Hawaii.
Neither of them can anticipate the trap awaiting them when they reach Hawaii
and it’s up to Maxine to get Alice to safety.

MarVista’s president,
Michael D. Jacobs, and the company’s CEO, Fernando Szew, serve as executive
producers. Marc Lorber, MarVista’s senior VP of production, and Sue Reiner, the
company’s head of television, serve as co-executive producers alongside Island
Film Group’s Ricardo S. Galindez and Roy J. Tjioe. Michael Scott is directing
the movie from a script written by Matt Dearborn, whose credits include Beyond
the Break, Beverly Hills 90210 and the Disney Channel series Even Stevens.

Special Delivery will be available for the international
marketplace in the fall.
