MARS Among FNGCD’s New Titles at MIPCOM

LOS ANGELES: Fox Networks Group Content Distribution (FNGCD) is gearing up for MIPCOM with a slate of brand-new programming, including titles from National Geographic, FX and the Fox Networks Channels.

MARS is a six-part series from National Geographic Channel, produced by Ron Howard and Brian Grazer and directed by Everardo Gout. It will be a World Premiere Screening at MIPCOM, followed by a Q&A with the cast and producers on Monday, October 17, in the Palais des Festivals.

At MIPCOM, the company will be hosting a special Turkish Drama event on Tuesday, October 18, to celebrate its Turkish drama slate, as well as the launch of Ay Yapim’s Wings of Love. The event will feature special guests, including executive producer Kerem Catay (Kara Sevda, Kara Para Ask) and co-stars Kadir Doğulu (Magnificent Century Kosem, Fatih Harbiye) and Seda Bakan (Kardes Payi, Behsat Ç. Bir Ankara Polisiyesi). Fox Networks Group Content Distribution is the exclusive worldwide television distributor for Wings of Love, excluding MENA. In addition, cast from the Turkish drama That is My Life will be in attendance, including Keremcem, Ezgi Asaroglu, Ceren Moray and Oya Basar.

In addition to the aforementioned Turkish dramas, FNGCD presents the second season of the drama thriller Wayward Pines. The slate also includes the six-part adventure title Continent 7: Antarctica, the natural-history program Safari Brothers, and the second season of the science series Years of Living Dangerously. Another highlight is Facing, a show that examines significant figures, such as Vladimir Putin, Saddam Hussein, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, from the point of view of their rivals.

FNGCD is also presenting Killing Reagan, starring Tim Matheson and Cynthia Nixon. The drama is based on Bill O’Reilly’s book of the same name and produced by Scott Free Productions. Other highlights include Donald Glover’s series Atlanta and Leonardo DiCaprio’s science film Before the Flood.
