Magi-Nation

TV Kids Weekly, May 8, 2007

ORIGIN: Magi-Nation is
based on a collectible card game also called Magi-Nation. Cookie Jar Entertainment acquired the property in 2004
and has developed plans for an animated series, an interactive website, a MMOG
(massively multiplayer online game), and a vast product line.

CREATORS: Magi-Nation is
co-produced by Cookie Jar Entertainment, under its action-adventure brand,
Coliseum, and Daewon Media in South Korea.

TV SHOW: The series consists of 26 30-minute episodes produced in
2-D animation.

Young Tony Jones is an average
teen from Earth who finds himself mysteriously transported to the magical world
of Magi-Nation. In these Moonlands, Tony befriends two young Magi
heroes-in-training who join him on a journey to defeat the evil Shadow Magi, who
are out to rule their world. Along with their trusty collection of Dream
Creatures, these new friends must solve riddles, battle evil and discover the
secrets hidden in each region on the Moonlands. During their adventures, they
just might discover some secrets about themselves!

A multiplatform entertainment
brand, Magi-Nation will allow kids to
enter its fantastic world this fall via the 2-D animated television series,
where they can follow the adventures of the three young Magi heroes. From
there, fans can experience the continuing action of Tony, Edyn, Strag and their
Dream Creatures via an immersive online world.

EXECUTIVE PRODUCERS: Michael Hirsh (President and CEO of Cookie Jar Group), Pam
Slavin (Cookie Jar's VP of Production), Wook Jung (Daewon Media)

MAIN BROADCASTERS: Kids’ WB! on The CW in the U.S.; CBC in Canada; SRC in
French-Canada; and SBS in Korea.

TV SALES: Magi-Nation has
been sold in the U.S., Canada and Korea.

MAJOR TOY LICENSEES: Magi-Nation will be
launched at the Licensing Show.

PRODUCTS: The Magi-Nation
world will debut online in Summer 2007 and on-air this Fall. Plans are under
way to release a new Collectible Trading Card Game, a full toy line, and an
advanced MMOG in 2008.

STRATEGY FOR ROLLOUT: The launch of the Magi-Nation website will take place this summer leading up to the
premiere of the show this fall in the U.S., Canada and Korea. The first online
game, Magi-Nation Arena, will debut
this fall. This online brand extension will allow fans to become their own Magi
by engaging in battle and using their own Dream Creatures, just as the Magi do
in the show. A full MMOG will be launched in Summer 2008.

“The world of Magi-Nation is so vast and rich that a television series alone will
not be enough to satisfy kids’ appetites,” says John Gildea, Cookie Jar
Entertainment’s senior VP of consumer products. “We know that kids today are
not loyal to any one screen or medium, and we will allow them to enter the
Moonlands whenever they want, either through the animated series, the immersive
online world and game or through electronic and traditional toys,”

Magi-Nation is the perfect brand to extend into the growing MMOG
online world,” adds Ken Locker, Cookie Jar Entertainment's senior VP of digital
media. “The game will allow kids to become Magi in a fun and innovative
environment.”
