Luis Bassat Tapped for laSexta’s Apprentice

MADRID: Luis Bassat, the Spanish advertising veteran who currently serves as honorary chairman of the Bassat Ogilvy España Group, is on board for laSexta’s version of the Mark Burnett format The Apprentice.

Spain is set to launch its own version of the format, produced by Grundy and Producciones 52, this fall. The Mark Burnett Productions format first launched on NBC in the U.S. in 2004 with Donald Trump. Since then, editions have been produced in almost 20 markets, including the U.K.—where the BBC has aired five seasons—South Africa, Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, Denmark, Latvia, Finland, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Norway, China, Russia, Switzerland and Turkey.
