Logo Lands Illegal Love Doc

LONDON: CAN’T STOP media’s one-hour documentary Illegal Love has been licensed by MTV Networks in the U.S. for its Logo channel.

The special, written and directed by Julie Gali, was produced for Canal+ in France by Petite Maison Production in association with Le Protocole Gali. It will premiere in the U.S. on October 29 on Logo. Noga Communication in Israel has also picked up the special. The documentary focuses on the fight for sex marriage in California since 2008 and the adoption of Proposition 8, the Constitutional ban.

Matthieu Porte, the founder and CEO of CAN’T STOP media, said, “Only six months into our launch, our distribution boutique has already licensed two documentary specials in the US. All we need is that sort of exclusive content that you can’t stop watching and we’ll continue to build on our reputation as a strong source of foreign content for American buyers.”

“I am confident this show will air in many more countries as, with the appeal in front of the California Supreme Court, Prop 8 is again in the news and this is a topic that is creating huge debates all over the world,” Porte added.
