LIVINGtv Takes NZ Drama

LONDON, October 26: LIVINGtv has acquired the rights to the
New Zealand drama Outrageous Fortune from
All3Media International.

Dubbed as New Zealand’s answer to Shameless, the show recently wrapped its second season with a
37.4 percent share among adults. Produced by South Pacific Pictures, it is
slated to launch on LIVINGtv in early 2007, following the antics of the Wests,
a family with a long criminal history who decide to clean up their act. “It
seems as if virtually an entire nation has embraced Outrageous
Fortune and we’re confident that U.K.
audiences will be equally enthralled by the shenanigans of the West family,”
said Louise Benham, the managing editor at LIVINGtv. “It’s going to make a
fantastic addition to our prime time line up.”
