Liv Picks Up Hawaii Five-O, Blue Bloods

MIAMI: Through an agreement with CBS Studios International, Liv, Discovery Networks’ new entertainment channel in Latin America, has taken on the exclusive cable rights in the region for the police series Hawaii Five-O and Blue Bloods.

Hawaii Five-O is a contemporary version of the classic series about a new federalized task force assigned to handle the crimes int he Islands. From the writers of The Sopranos, Blue Bloods stars Tom Selleck in a drama about a multi-generational family of cops in New York City. Hawaii Five-0 will air on Liv later this year and Blue Bloods will begin in 2011.

The agreement with CBS Studios International also includes the purchase of cable rights to the first few seasons of Dexter and Frasier.
