BURBANK: Legendary Television has appointed former Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) executive Marco Arabit as the VP of distribution for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, effective October 1.

In his new role, Arabit will be based in Legendary’s London office and will oversee the distribution of Legendary’s TV and digital content in Southern Europe (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece), the Middle East and Africa. He will report to John McMahon, Legendary Television’s executive VP and managing director of distribution for EMEA. Prior to joining Legendary, Arabit worked at Viacom International Media Networks, where he served in various sales roles across most of the EMEA markets over the past eight years.

“Marco’s experience licensing a wide variety of series and formats across many genres and markets stretching across EMEA is invaluable,” said Legendary Television’s president of worldwide distribution, Michael Grindon. “John McMahon and I are looking forward to Marco joining our London team and selling Legendary’s high-quality television and digital content to established and emerging channels and digital platforms throughout the region.”
