LazyTown Joins Sprout Lineup

NEW YORK: Sprout is to become the new U.S. home for LazyTown, with seasons one and two set to begin rolling out on the preschool network this September.

The deal, which includes a LazyTown special, will see the brand also being made available on Sprout’s VOD service. "At Sprout, we’re all about creating opportunities for preschoolers and their families to learn and share together," said Andrew Beecham, senior VP of programming. "We believe that it’s never too soon to inspire children to embrace a healthy, active lifestyle and Lazytown’s fun, interactive approach to living healthy is the perfect recipe.”
