Lalola Heads to Scandinavia

MIAMI, January 9: Dori
Media Group has closed a deal with TV7 to air the international hit Lalola in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark.

Lalola is slated to debut during the official relaunch of
TV7 on February 14. The revamped channel will focus more on providing
programming skewed toward a female audience. It will also broaden its
distribution to include Norway, Denmark and Finland.

Over the past year, Lalola
has been sold to some 60 countries
across the globe. A pilot for a U.S. prime-time version of the show is
currently in preproduction from Sony Pictures Television for FOX. Other formats
are due to launch in Mexico, Vietnam, Russia, France and Italy, among others.

José Escalante, the president and general manager of Dori Media Distribution, said,
"Lalola is one of our most
successful titles worldwide whether is sold as a finished or format product. It
has a proven track record and it is our pleasure to have Lalola be the pioneer of the telenovelas gender in the
Scandinavian markets. We believe Lalola will open the door to more Dori Media Group products in the
Scandinavian markets."
