L.A. Screenings: New from NBCUniversal Television Distribution

LOS ANGELES: NBCUniversal International Television Distribution is complementing its network lineup—which includes Grimm and Smash—with an extensive cable programming slate at the L.A. Screenings.

On the network TV front, NBCU has several sitcoms in the mix, among them the midseason replacements Bent and Best Friends Forever, the workplace comedy Free Agents—based on a British show of the same name and starring Hank Azaria and Anthony Head—Up All Night and Whitney. Returning comedies are 30 Rock, The Office and Parks and Recreation. On the drama front, there’s the fantasy series Grimm and the music-based Smash, plus the returning Law & Order: SVU, Parenthood and season eight of FOX’s House.

The cable portfolio, meanwhile, includes the dramas Against the Wall for Lifetime, Alphas for Syfy and Suits for USA, plus an extensive stable of reality properties from E!, Oxygen, Bravo and more.
