KidsCo Launches in Hong Kong

LONDON, May 14: KidsCo has
launched in Hong Kong via an agreement with PCCW’s now TV IPTV platform.

now TV joins the roster of
other Asian platforms that carry the 24/7 network, which includes SingTel’s mio
TV in Singapore, the Philippines’ Sky Cable and Korea’s HanaTV. KidsCo has also
signed a deal with the Philippines’ Cable Boss to act as its distributor in
that market. The channel currently broadcasts in Spain, Romania, Poland,
Hungary, Russia, Turkey, the Middle East and sub-Saharan Africa.

KidsCo’s managing
director, Paul Robinson, said: “The launch of KidsCo in Hong Kong is a
strategic part of our expansion into all the world’s TV markets and we are
delighted to be welcomed further into Asia. KidsCo’s unique positioning and
content partner ownership makes us a valuable new channel to platforms and
kids.”
