WOODLAND HILLS: The Kabillion YouTube Channel has teamed up with international multichannel network Base79, with the latter helping to manage the platform’s content and expand its audience beyond the U.S.

Through the partnership, Base79 will use its proprietary tools to manage Kabillion’s IP rights on the channel, grow a worldwide viewership and launch new original programming. The company’s sales team will also help monetize Kabillion’s online video content through ad sales at a local and global level.

The YouTube channel is run by children’s on-demand network Kabillion, a subsidiary of U.S.-based Splash Entertainment. The network is also set to produce new live-action content exclusively for its digital platform, as well as deliver clips from its animated titles such as Chloe’s Closets, Hero 108 and Sabrina, Secrets of a Teenage Witch.

“Base79 is one of the leading international networks for video creators, content owners and brands. It’s like their mission statement says, ‘they ensure that your content is seen and heard by a massive audience,’” commented Nicolas Atlan, the president of Kabillion. “With 1,500 channels, 850 content creators and over 750 millions views per month, they’re the perfect partner for us across all digital platforms. Our content could not be in better hands.”

“Kabillion has long been known as a quality provider of kids’ content and we are excited to help them establish a foothold on the platform,” said Ben Lister, the COO of Base79 USA. “They are fully dedicated to embracing the unique nature and talent of YouTube and we are excited for a long-lasting and innovative partnership.”
