Joytv Adds Fall Programming

TORONTO: Smallville and Supernatural are among the series returning to Joytv’s programming lineup this fall, alongside new local productions like The Standard.

Serving the Vancouver and Winnipeg markets, Joytv launches its 2009-2010 fall season in September. The new local productions The Standard, hosted by 60 Minutes veteran Peter Klein, and P3: People, Places, Perspectives join the current-affairs lineup.

Simulcasts of the prime-time dramas Supernatural and Smallville return, along with syndicated drama offerings such as The Practice and Third Watch. Everybody Hates Chris joins the weekday comedy lineup, which currently includes Frasier and The Bernie Mac Show.

Further additions include the entertainment news magazine The Insider, long-running daytime drama One Life to Live (airing in simulcast) and a new prime-time series for Punjabi Canadians, Ek Noor.
