Jon Heder to Star in Disney XD Pilot

LOS ANGELES: Jon Heder of Napoleon Dynamite and Blades of Glory is set to star in and executive-produce Gulliver Quinn (working title), a comedy series pilot for Disney XD.

The Gulliver Quinn script was written by Dan Kopelman of Malcolm in the Middle, who also executive-produced the pilot with Stan Rogow of Lizzie McGuire and Heder. Rob Schrab of The Sarah Silverman Program will direct. The show is set in present day and follows Gulliver Quinn, a grown man enrolled in the seventh grade after his family returns from a 15-year research expedition, having lived in a cave in India for many years. The pilot is a production of Turtle Rock Productions.
