JimJam Expands Russian Presence

MOSCOW, October 20:
JimJam, the global preschool channel formed by HIT Entertainment and
Chellomedia, has been added to the offerings of Russian satellite platform
NTV-Plus, following the network’s recent launch in the region of Akado.

The launch on NTV-Plus
will add an additional 250,000 households to JimJam’s reach in Russia as part
of the platform’s extended basic package. JimJam, which is dubbed into the
local language, will also be included in the new family package for subscribers
that NTV-Plus launched in September.

The preschool channel,
aimed at children aged 1 to 6, features well-known shows such as Thomas
& Friends
, Bob the Builder, Barney & Friends, Fireman Sam, Angelina Ballerina, Pingu, Oswald, Rubbadubbers and the
recently acquired Dorothy the Dinosaur.

JimJam is proving a success in Russia and NTV-Plus is now offering the channel
