Jetset Names Operations VP

LOS ANGELES, July 11: Rynda Laurel has been promoted to the
newly created position of VP of operations for Jetset Studios, an online
marketing agency.

In her new position, Laurel will be responsible for
overseeing all business operations, including corporate strategy, account
management, business development, marketing and public relations, for Jetset.

The online marketing agency has worked on branding projects
for studios such as Universal Pictures, Paramount, DreamWorks, Sony and 20th
Century Fox. Among its projects have been websites and viral features for
numerous Judd Apatow films, including The 40 Year Old Virgin and Talladega Nights, as well as a host of other blockbusters, among them
Bee Movie, Beowulf and King Kong.

Prior to joining Jetset in 2006, Laurel served as the
manager of creative affairs of Sony/BMG’s children’s music and home entertainment
division, Sony Wonder. She later worked as the associate director of A&R
where she was involved with several product launches. At Jetset, she continues
to report to its co-founders: Russell Scott, CEO, and Patrick Young, president.
