Jetix Europe Posts Revenue Decline

AMSTERDAM/LONDON, November
13: For the year ended September 30, 2008, revenues at Jetix Europe were down
18 percent to 136.9 million euros, with net profit falling 44 percent to 21.3
million euros.

Channel and online
revenues fell by 15 percent to 104.2 million euros. Within this, subscriber
revenues fell 22 percent to 62.6 million euros, due to rate reductions in some
markets, the appreciation of the euro against the pound and U.S. dollar, and
the licensing of its French operations to The Walt Disney Company France. There
were, however, increases in the subscriber rates in key Western European
markets, as well as a rise in the number of subs in Italy and Central and
Eastern Europe. At the end of the period, Jetix Europe had 52.3 million
subscribers, a 1.8-million gain. Ad revenues were stable at 37.7 million euros.

Program distribution
revenues, meanwhile, dropped 24 percent to 15.9 million euros, as a result of a
delay in program sales in Israel until fiscal '09, the timing of deliveries to
broadcasters, and lower sales of content with non-European rights. Revenues
were also hurt by currency fluctuations.

Consumer products revenue
decreased 25 percent to 16.8 million euros, principally as a result of the
fiscal 2007 A.T.O.M. Alpha Teens on Machines master toy license not being repeated this year,
plus increased competition in the market with respect to the Power Rangers property.
