Jerry Bruckheimer to Be Honored at Monte-Carlo Television Festival

MONTE CARLO: The TV and film producer Jerry Bruckheimer has been selected to receive the Honorary Golden Nymph Award, recognizing his lifetime achievements in his profession, at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival.

The award will be presented to Bruckheimer by H.S.H. Prince Albert of Monaco at the opening ceremony of the 54th annual Monte-Carlo Television Festival, set for June 7 to 11, 2014.

Bruckheimer's TV credits include the long-running CSI franchise, Without a Trace, Cold Case, Dark Blue, The Amazing Race and the new series Hostages, among others. His film work spans 40 years and includes Top Gun, the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, Armageddon, Con Air, Pearl Harbor and countless others.

“If it is possible for a producer to become a worldwide brand, Jerry Bruckheimer is that producer,” commented Laurent Puons, the CEO of the festival. “His work is seen throughout the world and has captured the imagination of multiple generations who have experienced the very best in filmed entertainment that he has produced. We are delighted that he has accepted our invitation to honor him. He will receive an award from H.S.H. Prince Albert that he richly deserves.”
