Jamie Oliver Returns to Food Network

NEW YORK, December 13: British chef Jamie Oliver is returning to
Food Network next year with the January launch of his new series Jamie At
Home
.

The half-hour series follows Oliver around his home as he prepares
dishes from produce grown in his own country garden. In each episode, Oliver
focuses on a specific ingredient and shows viewers several completely different
recipes. Whether whipping up a delicious spicy pork goulash, foraging for
mushrooms to create a wild mushroom and venison stroganoff or harvesting
pumpkins for a winter salad of roast duck and pumpkin, Oliver will show viewers
that using fresh ingredients can be simple and satisfying.

A sneak peak of the show will air on Sunday, January 6, at 10
p.m., following Oliver’s appearance on Iron Chef America, where he battles
against Iron Chef Mario Batali. The series will then premiere in its regular
timeslot on Saturday, January 12, at 9:30 a.m. as part of Food Network’s In
the Kitchen
daytime lineup.

Prior to Jamie At Home, Oliver has hosted several shows including The
Naked Chef
(Food Network), Jamie's Kitchen (Food Network), Jamie's
School Lunch
(TLC) and Jamie's Great Italian Escape (The Travel Channel).
His programs have been broadcast in more than 50 countries including the U.K.,
Australia, South Africa, Brazil, Japan and Iceland, and his cookbooks have been
translated into 26 languages.

"Jamie Oliver has always been a Food Network fan-favorite and
we are so excited to have a new series that showcases his easily accessible
cooking style and his exuberant personality," said Bob Tuschman, the
senior VP of programming and production for Food Network. "His new show
focuses on recipes that are quick, fresh, inventive and easy to recreate at
home."
