ITV’s Claire Murphy Joins Input Media

LONDON: The sports production company Input Media has hired Claire Murphy as its new director of business development.

Murphy will be responsible for developing new business streams and working to cultivate new client relationships. She will be specializing in the commercial exploitation of content for clients, with a focus on cross-platform and digital projects. She will also manage some of Input Media’s existing client relationships.

At ITV Global Entertainment, Murphy served as commercial sports director. Prior to this she was at Tyne Tees Television and worked in advertising for 13 years through numerous ITV company mergers.

David Johnson, the managing director at Input Media, said: “I am delighted that Input Media is welcoming Claire to the team—she will bring a new dimension of commercial experience into the business to help us achieve our growth plan. I have always admired the work Claire did at ITV, particularly in her management of their sports relationships.”

Input Media handles sports production for European clients such as UEFA, The Football Association, Sky Sports, ITV and the French Tennis Federation.
