ITV Studios & TF1 Close Movie Output Agreement

CANNES: ITV Studios Global Entertainment and France’s TF1 have agreed to an ongoing movie output deal that includes newly acquired Hollywood TV movies and titles from the Hallmark Hall of Fame collection.

The Hallmark Hall of Fame movies are produced by is U.S.-based production company for broadcast in prime time on CBS. The collection includes movies such as Sarah: Plain and Tall, Riding the Bus with My Sister and A Dog Named Christmas. Lifetime’s The Pregnancy Pact is also included under the deal.

David Wilcox, the senior sales executive for France and the U.K. at ITV Studios Global Entertainment, said, “TF1 is home to the very best TV movies and today’s news is incredibly exciting for all parties involved. The channel is the perfect fit for ITV Studios’ offering of ratings winning drama, thriller and disaster U.S. TV movies, featuring all-star casts. This output deal underlines the important role and popularity that independently produced feature-length drama has in European schedules. It’s also representative of the positive response we’ve had to ITV Studios’ recent acquisition of the Hallmark Hall of Fame collection.”
