ITV Studios Global Entertainment Enters Deals with La Plante Productions

LONDON: ITV Studios Global Entertainment has signed a multi-year exclusive deal with La Plante Productions that includes the worldwide rights to more than 120 hours of content and first-look options for international distribution on all new projects.

The agreement covers the worldwide rights for the entire La Plante Productions catalogue, including the courtroom drama Trial & Retribution, police series The Commander and The Governor. Also included is the crime thriller Above Suspicion.

Maria Kyriacou, the managing director at ITV Studios Global Entertainment, said, “La Plante Productions has established an impressive slate of world class drama which continues to prove hugely successful on the international stage. Content from leading, third party producers forms an important part of our portfolio and this deal is a fantastic example of our continued commitment to acquire first-class, long-running programs for international distribution.”
