ITV Preps New Series with Katie Price

LONDON: British personality Katie Price will be the focus of a new series for ITV2 that chronicles her life after her separation from husband Peter Andre earlier this year, co-produced by ITV Studios and her new production company.

The 6×1-hour What Katie Did Next will premiere on ITV2 this fall, following model and TV star Price as she copes with single life with her children. The show is executive produced by Jo Scarratt and series produced by Lizi Wootton for ITV Studios and Mark Wagman for Pricey Media. Price established Pricey Media with Wagman, a former ITV Studios talent executive, to develop, produce and co-produce new shows and formats. She is looking to develop her career in the U.S., where she recently signed with CAA.

Announcing the commission, Zai Bennett, the director of digital channels and acquisitions for ITV2, said: “Katie is a huge star in the U.K. and part of the ITV family and we’re delighted she is continuing to share the next phase of her life with our viewers on ITV2. What Katie Did Next promises to show our viewers the truth behind the headlines around this iconic celebrity.”

Price added: “It’s great to start Pricey Media by co-producing my new reality series What Katie Did Next. I’m really excited to be getting more involved with new shows and formats for next year—so bring it on Pricey!"

Wagman said: "Katie is a huge personality and I’m delighted that with the formation of Pricey Media we can look to broaden her broadcast career both here with ITV and internationally."
