ITV Orders The Exit List Format

LONDON: ITV has commissioned The Exit List, a new game-show format in which contestants can win up to £200,000.

Hosted by Matt Allwright, the program features a pair of contestants in a 24-room maze with every room containing cash, and one room contains £100,000. In each room, the contestants must answer questions correctly in order to pocket the cash and they must remember their exact route out and every single answer on their Exit List in order to win the game.

The Exit List was commissioned by Layla Smith, ITV’s controller of entertainment, and Elaine Bedell, the director of entertainment and comedy. The program will be co-produced for ITV by Gogglebox Entertainment and Victory Television. The original format was created by David Grifhorst and is distributed internationally by Absolutely Independent.

Bedell said, “The Exit List is an exciting new concept and we are delighted to bring this innovative game of knowledge, memory and risk to ITV.”
