ITV DVD in Deal for Liverpool FC in U.K., Ireland

LONDON, April
28: ITV DVD, the publishing division of ITV Worldwide’s Granada Ventures, has
been appointed as the official DVD publisher of Liverpool Football Club in the
U.K. and Ireland.

The deal will
see ITV DVD continue to produce and distribute Liverpool’s official DVD
programming. The first release under the new deal will be Liverpool FC:
2007/2008 Official Season Review.

This recent
agreement is the result of a long-standing partnership between Liverpool
Football Club and ITV DVD that has delivered various DVD releases over the last
nine years, including Liverpool FC: Champions of Europe, The Treble, The Road to Istanbul, The Official History, Greatest Moments of the Kop, 3 Great Managers, Steven Gerrard My Story and more.

The new
agreement was negotiated with the Club by Kevin Morgan, the content director at
Granada Ventures, who commented: “Liverpool FC is Britain’s most successful
Club and the biggest selling Club brand on DVD. We are very proud of our
relationship and look forward to working together on an exciting schedule of
future titles that celebrate the Club’s past and present glories.”

Rick Parry,
the chief executive of Liverpool Football Club, added, "We are delighted
to continue our long and successful partnership with ITV DVD. Having produced a
number of high-quality releases over the years for Liverpool Football Club, it
was an easy decision to hand ITV DVD the publishing rights to our official DVD
programming."
