LONDON: Inverleigh Media Holdings, the British content marketing firm set up by two former Sportsbrand Media Group executives, has launched its own international distribution arm, DSI | by Inverleigh.

DSI has been set up as an outlet to distribute high-quality sport, lifestyle and entertainment programs to international TV and new-media platforms. The distribution arm will launch with a suite of content already in place, including titles that have been produced within the Inverleigh group, programs developed by Inverleigh and outsourced to other production companies, as well as a selection of programming from third-party producers.

The headquarters for DSI is based in London, as it will initially operate from Inverleigh’s posts in London and Melbourne. There are plans to open additional offices in the Middle East and North America shortly.

Inverleigh was set up by Peter Wraith and Matt Whytcross, previously senior managers at Sportsbrand Media Group. Kate Foster, a former colleague of Whycross and Wraith at Sportsbrand, has been tapped to oversee DSI’s sales and distribution activities across the Asia Pacific and African territories.

The launch of DSI essentially marks the commencement of Inverleigh’s commercial trading so naturally, it’s an exciting time for the business,” Wraith said. DSI will operate as a stand-alone business within the Inverleigh group.”

Whytcross added: “The ambition for DSI is to be innovative, not only in the subject and format of the content we are offering, but to innovate in our approach to client servicing.”
