Invento Sees Growth Since Relaunch

BOGOTÁ, September 22: Invento, the production and distribution company formed as a joint venture between FremantleMedia and Colombia’s Teleset, is celebrating the one-year anniversary of its relaunch, with a number of deals closed within that time.

“The results that we have obtained during this year have been very positive, because we were able to relaunch the company with great success, to position it in the international market and to make people know or remember that Invento is [a viable option within the fiction format industry],” said Tina Hernᮤez, the company’s international sales manager.

In the year since its relaunch, Invento reached alliances with two companies to distribute and sell its titles in Spain, Italy and Russia.

“We have advanced a lot in the negotiations in Greece and in Spain there are people interested in other titles, which means that they have turned to look at us; it is important to point out that this has also been achieved thanks to the help given by our allies: on one hand, Flor Latina, which has done a great job of positioning our formats and for the Spanish territory, CF Representaciones, which have also been a great support in this respect,” Hernᮤez continued.

Invento also sold the format The Baby Sister to New Channel for Ukraine and Russia. “This direct sale is also part of these results that have given us so much satisfaction,” Hernᮤez said. “We hope that the change that we have seen along the year continues being reflected in the results to come.”
