International Deals Signed at Opus

LOS ANGELES: Ahead of its one-year anniversary, Opus Distribution has notched up a number of deals around the world on its inaugural slate.

Next Stop Murder, premiering on Lifetime Movie Network, has been sold to M6 in France, Dall’Angelo for Italy and Drim Tim for Spain. Dall’Angelo, Drim Tim and France’s TF1 also went for Locked Away, which premieres on Lifetime. For My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend, WB Digital is going to take the film out in the U.S. for PPV/VOD in December. Deals were concluded with Kino Star for Germany and Benelux; SelectaVision for Spain and Portugal; Minerva for Italy; Anchor Bay for Australia and New Zealand; Falcon for the Mideast; BskyB for the U.K.; NBC/Universal Networks in a multiple-territory deal; Leda for Latin America; Grandview for Central and Eastern Europe; and Platinum Pictures for Indonesia. The Objective has scored sales with EuroVideo in Germany, Brave Films in Italy, Trade Media in France and MovieBank in Benelux.
